Harbour International Freight began as a specialist in trailer services between Ireland and the UK over 50 years ago. Following a period of extensive growth, we now operate a fleet of over 350 vehicles to provide dynamic transport, logistics and 3PL services across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

​

With over 30 strategically placed locations throughout the UK and Ireland, we are able to provide the highest quality services to our customers in the UK, Ireland and beyond, handling over 4,500 shipments per day across the group.


From our Head Office in Kingswood, Dublin and our UK Headquarters in Trafford Park, Manchester, our experienced transport team is uniquely positioned to support your business with all requirements, ensuring that your freight is distributed in the most cost-effective and efficient way.

We offer Irish Sea, express parcels, groupage, pallets and full loads, supported in full by UK pallet distribution services through our Pall-Ex Group membership. Warehousing, pick-and-pack fulfilment and freight forwarding are also available to customers, with our most in-demand offering being groupage services to Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Since 2016, Harbour International Freight has been a member of the Pall-Ex Group network, providing quality pallet distribution services to customers across Manchester.

​

Pall-Ex Group provides international pallet distribution services to every postcode across the UK, through a network of over 90 independent hauliers. This, combined with our own network of depots in the Republic of and Northern Ireland, enables a full range of transport and logistics services.​

Pall-Ex Group’s extensive service offering includes:

  • Next-day and economy palletised freight deliveries

  • The widest range of pallet sizes in the industry

  • Timed collections and deliveries

  • Retail Plus service - goods are delivered and unpacked in your store

  • Daily services to all UK offshore islands, including the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and the Scottish Islands​

Charity and sustainability

At Harbour International Freight, we are committed to operating in the most sustainable, carbon-neutral way possible. It is a key area of the business that we have focused on for a number of years and continue to dedicate time and resources to in our bid to become net zero.

​

We are proud to partner with a number of important charities, including the North West Air Ambulance, Elephant in the Room and the Eden Reforestation Project. Alongside supporting our personal charities, for each UK domestic pallet we distribute via our shareholder membership with Pall-Ex, we contribute to the Penny-a-Pallet fund, which is generated from a penny being donated for every pallet moved within the network throughout the year.
