Windsor Framework - Delivering to Northern Ireland

From the 1st May, the Windsor Framework or Protocol has coming in force for all shipments delivering to Northern Ireland.
To simplify - this means goods sent under DAP incoterms requires the importer in NI is registered on UKIMS, with all shipments being sent under DDP require the exporter to be registered.
If not registered it does potentially mean goods could be at risk of duty to be paid,
below is the HMRC link for registering if you have not already done so.

We do recommend checking with your customers in Northern Ireland that they are fully registered and ask for their UKIMS registeration number.
