Harbour deepens ties with BITA

Harbour International Freight believes there is strength in networks - this is why we are a Shareholder Member of Pall-Ex. The UK/Ireland freight market is one of our most important, and that's why we also work closely with the British Irish Trading Alliance, which is an organisation that fosters trade, networking and co-operations between businesses in the two countries. This has been even more important with the advent of Brexit, which has meant that freight forwarders like us and anyone that import/exports between the two has had to adapt and evolve to keep goods moving and customers happy.

We were fortunate enough to attend the BITA Manchester Lunch on 14 October, where both Sarah Mangan, Consul General of Ireland for the North of England and Eamonn Boylan, Chief Executive of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority both talked about the importance of these points, the need for ongoing cooperation between businesses as well as governments.
